I guess by this time everyone would be weary of listening to one or the rumor about iPad3. This time it’s not iPad 3 but the rumored 2048*1536 display that is creating waves all over. Rumors state that the display may quickly surpass, but not completely substitute, the iPad 2 based on alleged new leaks. Apple has already shipped one million and according to Digitimes, it is supposed to ship around 8 million during the first 3 months of 2012. By the start of summer, Apple is aiming to ship nearly 10 million for the upcoming third-generation tablet.
iPad 2 shipments are slowing down, and also the shipments have dropped from 10 million to 8 million displays during this winter. The insiders anticipated that Apple might see a significant growth in the number of tablet it ships. The iPad 2 shipments might drop from 48 million in 2011 to 25 million in 2012, but with the addition of iPad 3 shipments would add another 40 million to account. After the launch of iPad 3, Apple might see a growth of 35% by the overall iPad shipments.
Production rumors have lined up and Apple is readying as many as 9 million iPad 3 units just for the rumored launch in March. If this turns out to fine, then Apple will be termed as the most valuable brands in the world.
